Members of The Professional Association are eligible to receive up to $1,000 in scholarship funds per year to help underwrite training & professional development opportunities pending available funds. This is a competitive process where applicants must demonstrate a need for the funds or how they will impact on the mission of the Club. Read on to learn more.

INFORMATION:

Applicant Eligibility:

• TPA member in good standing
• Member of TPA for a minimum of one (1) year
• Not exceeded this calendar year’s $1,000 annual scholarship award limit

Priority Applicants:

• Club Team Members who have fewer opportunities to attend trainings or conferences

Priority Funding Areas:

• Advanced Degree/Masters/College Credits (up to $1,000)
• Continued Education (other than college credits) (up to $500)
• BGCA Regional Conferences, Advanced Leadership Programs (up to $500)
• Club Director Academy / YDI (up to $350)
• BGCA All Staff Training (up to $250)

Ineligible Funding Areas:

• BGCA National Conferences

DEADLINES:

March 1st - 1st Quarter

For Registrations in April, May and June

June 1st - 2nd Quarter

For Registrations in July, August and September

September 1st - 3rd Quarter

For Registrations in October, November and December

December 1st - 4th Quarter

For Registrations in January, February and March

APPLICATION:

• All applications for scholarships MUST be completed online.
• Only complete applications will be considered for scholarships.
• You MUST be a member of The Professional Association. If you have trouble logging in, please email for help: admin@bgcpros.org.

When you log into your TPA account, be ready to answer several questions about yourself and your funding needs, and have:

1. Letters of recommendation from your Chief Executive Officer (CVO if you are a CEO) AND from your immediate supervisor.
2. Proof of enrollment for the course or training that you are applying for with this scholarship (if available at time of application).

Please note that in the case should fail to complete the course that all scholarship monies would be returned to TPA.
